Gammon & Mushroom with Broccoli

  • 1 pkg (400g) gammon (thaw in the refrigerator)
  • 1 pkg (227g) fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 700g broccoli, washed and cut to flower sizes
  • 10 cl UHT cream
  • 1 tbs butter
  • salt & black pepper to taste


  1. Cook the broccoli in salted boiling water for 5 minutes then drain and cool under running water and place on a platter
  2. Preheat skillet at medium heat and add gammon slices for 5 minutes, then turn them over
  3. Add the mushrooms and cream, and let simmer for 5 more minutes
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste
  5. Place the gammon slices on the platter and pour the sauce over the broccoli
