Cariquisine is Saint Lucia’s leading supplier of meat produce. Formerly known as GREW (1989) Ltd., the company was purchased by Franck Chevrier in 2006. Hailing from the Vosges, a range of low mountains in Eastern France, close to the border with Germany, known for its smoked bacon, assorted sausages and specialty meats, Chef Franck has close to 30 years’ experience in butchery, and on acquiring the business immediately upgraded the equipment, and augmented the existing product selection with his range of specialty sausages, so as to better serve both the tourism industry and the general population.

Chef Franck’s vision is simple – take great raw ingredients, enhance them with spices and just enough salt, and mix them together with love and care. All cuts of meat are used in traditional butchery, each of them unique according to the body part, the muscle, the texture, and humidity. Once you respect this individuality of every cut, you will be amazed by the end result.
